Weather

I checked the weather network to see what the weather around the country was.

And ha. We're comparatively warm!
It's actually 4C where I live, not 2C. That's Vancouver, and it's usually colder there than it is here. And you have to remember, it "feels like" even colder.

Well, it does everywhere else. It still feels like 4C here.

(This would make me feel better if not for all the people from out east who tell me they feel colder here in 4 degrees than they do where they live in -21 degrees. My mom was in Niagara in late November, and she said the same thing. Stupid damp cold, getting in my bones. If I move, that will be the biggest reason. Being able to bundle up and actually be warm, instead of wearing four layers and still being cold.)

  1. It's currently -9c, feels like -14c here. :D But it's also later into our night.

    1. Yeah, I think -40 is a little too far for me. Note to self: factor in extremes if you're thinking of moving.

(Though I'm not bilingual, I wouldn't do well in Ottawa anyway.)

  3. Around -20 where I live now, -10ish during the days.. but let's be fair. Days in Sweden at this time of the year is about 4-5 hours of daylight *lol*

It doesn't help that our heater is messing up. Earlier today it was 11 C in my apartment. Not nice!

I dream of winning the lottery big time and moving south for the cold, dark half of the year.

    1. I have a friend in Timmins, Ontario, who woke up to -49 weather the other day. Negative forty-nine! That's so crazy.

But I cannot imagine not only being that cold, but not having a working heater. I can't take my 4C weather without the heat being on!
