Because my blog has turned into me talking about games.
And I'm okay with that.
Anyway, I sometimes look at the Mass Effect subreddit because there are occasionally interesting discussions going on about motivations and endings and things like that.
I have been finding out there is way more depth to these things than I thought.
The way I played it, everyone lived. I thought it was a given that everyone would live, you know? But it turns out that, depending on quests you did or didn't do, and who you choose to do certain things, or whether or not you're enough of a paragon or a renegade, your companions can totally die.
They can get killed during the course of a quest, or you can kill them, or they can commit suicide.
So it really makes me want to play through the games again. And then again after that, making different decisions again. It's a really awesome feeling thinking I can go and play this same game and get different results every time (well, many times) just by what choices I make.
